Participants will learn practical skills in tread and corridor maintenance\, sustainable trail design\, drainage\, trail structures\, blazing and signage\, tool use\, volunteer management\, and user stewardship. \nOpen to professional and volunteer trail managers from Central Vermont and beyond\, this workshop is a great opportunity to build technical trail skills while connecting with fellow trail stewards. With more than 500 miles of trails maintained by over 800 volunteers\, the Green Mountain Club brings decades of expertise to this interactive field training. \nDate and time: Friday\, October 9 from 10-2 \nLocation:  Exact location TBD – somewhere between App Gap and Johnson.
