DESCRIPTION:National Trails Day® is your chance to connect with nature\, your community\, and the trails you love. On June 7\, 2025\, join American Hiking Society and outdoor enthusiasts nationwide in celebrating this annual day of action. Together\, let’s leave the trails and outdoor spaces better than we found them\, fostering a world where everyone feels welcome and has access to the outdoors. \nMillions of hikers\, bikers\, paddlers\, horseback riders\, trail clubs\, agencies\, land trusts\, and businesses will come together to create a trail community that is accessible for all\, advocate for public lands\, and care for the trails we cherish. This year\, AHS invites you to participate in three impactful ways: \n\nJoin: Find a local event or create your own\, and join this nationwide celebration. Together\, we can make a lasting impact by cleaning up trails\, maintaining public lands\, and fostering a sense of community in the outdoors.\nPledge: Take the #NationalTrailsDay Pledge and commit to leaving the trails and the outdoor community better than you found them.\nConnect: Encourage people to tag you/your organization\, #NationalTrailsDay\, and @AmericanHiking on social media. Photos tagged with @AmericanHiking and #NationalTrailsDay on Instagram will be entered into the NTD photo/video contest with a chance to win premium outdoor gear.\n\nWe hope you’ll join us and engage your community in the months leading up to NTD with these actions.
